Partnerships and collaborations

Is your business interested in supporting FiND in a unique way? Companies and organisations have a wealth of resources and expertise that can greatly benefit our local charity. If your funding budget has already been allocated, there are several impactful ways your business can contribute to our ongoing efforts through in-kind support and pro bono services.

Donate space for events

One significant way businesses can support FiND is by offering space for events. Many businesses have meeting rooms, conference halls or outdoor areas that are often underutilised. These spaces can be incredibly valuable for hosting charity events, workshops or community activities. By providing a venue, your business can help to reduce costs and make it possible for us to organise more frequent and larger-scale events. This can include everything from fundraising galas and family fun days to regular activities that benefit our students.

This involvement not only aligns with modern ESG expectations but also showcases your dedication to fostering inclusivity and improving quality of life for local people.

Share expertise and resources

Your business will possess specialised knowledge and resources that can greatly aid our charity’s operations. Sharing expertise in areas such as marketing, IT, human resources or legal advice can provide invaluable support that will enable us to achieve greater brand awareness and best practice.

Providing pro bono consultations or dedicating a few hours per month to advise on policies and systems can help FiND to improve its efficiency and outreach. Additionally, we’re always very grateful when businesses donate office supplies, technology or equipment that can be used by our staff and students.

Connect FiND to your network

Businesses often have extensive networks of clients, suppliers and partners. Sharing these connections can help FiND to expand its reach and enhance our service delivery. For example, you could introduce us to a catering firm that might provide food for events at a reduced cost or to a printing company that could donate promotional materials. Such connections can open doors to resources that we might not otherwise have access to – it’s amazing what a simple introduction can achieve!

Volunteer time and skills

A key way to support FiND is by encouraging employees to volunteer their time and skills to support our charity. This could involve participating in day service activities, organising events, or providing one-on-one support to individuals with learning disabilities. We’re also very interested in skill-based volunteering, where employees use their professional expertise to help FiND become more efficient and effective in particular areas of day-to-day operations.

Providing pro bono consultations or dedicating a few hours per month to advise on policies and systems can help FiND to improve its efficiency and outreach. Additionally, we’re always very grateful when businesses donate office supplies, technology or equipment that can be used by our staff and students.

Provide publicity and advocacy

Last but certainly not least, your business can use its platforms to advocate for FiND and raise public awareness. This could involve sharing information about our charity through your social media channels, newsletters and company website, which is an easy way to further enhance our brand awareness and public image.
