How FiND began

Families for individual Need and Dignity (FiND) is a company limited by guarantee and was registered with the Charities Commission on 23rd November 2001. The charity was set up by parents who could not find the services they and their sons and daughters needed to meet their needs.

We celebrate our 25th Anniversary in 2026.

FiND is an East Riding of Yorkshire charity that is committed to to delivering the highest quality of support to adults with learning disabilities and autism.  Through a wide range of day opportunities, person centred care and student-focused support, we empower our students and provide meaningful experiences.

Our service is for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, and provides lifelong learning and skills development to achieve optimum independence.
