Key Workers

Location: Cottingham & Hessle, East Riding of Yorkshire

Hours: Full Time, Part Time & Bank

Salary: £11.03ph

FiND is a charity providing day services meeting the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and or autism. The services are designed to provide stimulating, fulfilling and enjoyable activities throughout the day which are specifically designed for each person. Our service encourages every individual to be as independent as possible by promoting positive and meaningful experiences based on a person centred approach.

So what do we get up to?

Key Workers are responsible for the personal care, medication, and health needs of the individuals who access our services, as well as assisting them in undertaking a wide range of activities and experiences from their bespoke personal support plans. Our services provide a range of activities which are important to the person within a safe, supportive and friendly environment – indoors, outdoors and in the community. Within the FiND centres we have a variety of different activity rooms, including accessible kitchens, sensory room, craft areas and we also have some lovely outdoor areas. We provide opportunities to enhance the individual’s social and communication skills to build positive relationships, confidence and self-esteem.

We are currently seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, hardworking, passionate and able to work well within an established team. The successful applicant will provide support to our students enabling them to access and participate in activities they enjoy. This could be within the service, the community or in some cases within the person’s home environment.
