Support worker/Keyworker

FiND are currently recruiting for: A Full Time Keyworker at our FiND2 site (Beverley).


FiND2 is a day service which meets the needs of individuals with physical and learning disabilities. It is designed to provide stimulating, fulfilling and enjoyable activities throughout the day which are specially designed for each person. Our service encourages every individual to be as independent as possible by promoting positive and meaningful experiences based on a person-centered approach through choices, my plan, one page profiles and staff matching.


So what do we get up to?

FiND2 provides a range of activities which are important to the young person within a safe, supportive and friendly environment indoors, outdoors and in the community. Within FiND2 we have a variety of different activity rooms, including an art room, a kitchen, a sensory room, and a computer room. We also have a gardening area with a greenhouse. We provide opportunities to enhance the individual’s social and communication skills to build positive relationships, confidence and self-esteem.

We are currently seeking an individual who is enthusiastic, hardworking and is able to work well within an established team. The successful applicant will provide support to our students enabling them to access and participate in person centred activities. Previous experience of working in a supportive role is essential .Successful applicants would be expected to work 36.25 hours per week with a salary of £15,687 per annum.
